Power of Nursing Informational Session

April 28 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
There is a crisis that is quietly reshaping healthcare: nearly one in three new nurses leaves the bedside within their first year!

Behind that statistic are real human costs — compassion fatigue, emotional exhaustion, and a profession that is losing talented, caring people before they ever fully arrive. Many nurses simply lose touch with their “why” — the deep sense of calling that drew them to this work in the first place. The Power of Nursing (PON) curriculum was created by the Remen Institute for the Study of Health and Illness (RISHI) in direct response to this crisis.

Join us for an informational session to explore the Power of Nursing, an experiential program, that creates space for reflection, renewal, and reconnection, helping nursing students and professionals rediscover their “why” and build resilience that lasts. It also advances personal and professional development by cultivating emotional intelligence, purpose, and self-awareness alongside clinical skill. By integrating PON, your institution can empower future nurses to stay grounded, compassionate, and purpose-driven — strengthening both retention and patient care from the inside out!!
